MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. His music has been able to make significant progress into Latin pop. Una Lady Como Tu, his hit from 2016, received the Colombian Kids Choice Award in 2017 for the Best Song. His debut album ADN was issued through La Industria Inc., which is a Medellin-based Sony distribution company. This album peaked at eight on the Top Latin Albums charts. The following year, he joined forces with Ozuna to record Vaina Loca which climbed to the top of five on the chart of Top Latin Albums. He worked with Noriel in the song Mala Influencia in the year 2020. He next year, dropped his sophomore album chart-topping Dopamina. Then in 2021 he sang an duet with TINI's streaming smash track Maldita Foto. In 2023, 2000 with the hit song La Bachata was released. Turizo was brought up in a musical environment, as both his mother & his older brother are musicians. In his interviews, he said the importance of music as a requirement.
