Emma
Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson was born in Paris France to British parents Jacqueline Luesby and Chris Watson, both lawyers. When she was a kid she attended her school, the Dragon School in Oxfordshire. Emma decided to be an actor when she was six. Through the years, she attended the Oxford branch of Stagecoach Theatre Arts part-time school. There she learned singing as well as dancing, and also acting. When she was 10, Emma had taken part in numerous Stagecoach productions and plays. Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone (2000) the film adaptation of J.K. Rowling's bestselling British book was cast in the year 1999. Emma was initially discovered as a casting agent by her Oxford drama instructor. David Heyman, the producer of Harry Potter Harry Potter's Sorcerer's Stone and Ron Weasley told Emma after eight auditions that she had been selected for the characters. She was cast alongside Daniel Radcliffe Rupert Grint and Rupert Grint. Emma's first appearance on the big screen was Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone that was released in the year 2001. The film is 2001's top grossing film, breaking records during the opening day and the very first weekend. The film has been praised by critics for its film, as well as the performance by three young actors. The Daily Telegraph, an important British paper, called Emma's performance "amazing". Emma's performance received nominations and later won awards in the film.
