Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson comes from a musically inclined family. As a child, she was exposed to many traditional music as well as older Boleros. She also listened to traditional ranchero and romantic ballads. Ana enjoys tangos and opera and dramatic performances. At the age 16, she started singing and studying music with her mum. Flavio, a Mexican famous tenor, started to provide her with more intense vocal instruction. In the School of Music of Guadalajara University and the School of Sacred Music of Toluca in Mexico kept her in the music field. When she was a student, as well when she was a professional young in Mexico City and Guadalajara she performed with various chamber groups and choirs. When she moved into California in United States in 2000, she joined the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus before making the move to her current place in the southern part of California. She is currently performing traditional Latin American songs at private occasions as a soloist. As a musician and teacher, she is committed to many projects in the community because of her love and love for music. Ana is also a previous part of the Community Chorus of Redlands, the Inland Master Chorale, and the Performance Loft. Ana is grateful for having the chance to share her passion and passion of the traditional Latin American songs with others as she hopes to inspire a passion, especially among younger generations to keep this tradition alive.Viva Mexico!
